A limited liability company incorporated in Amiens, France in 1999 by David & Chantal Fraser - offers a range of language and consultancy services to innovative biomedical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and related service companies seeking to start or develop their business in France and other French-speaking countries.

Our client list notably includes GlaxoSmithKline, BTG, Serono, Aureus Pharma, Libragen, Mutabilis, Effi-Stat, the Pasteur Institute in Paris and in Lille, Atlanpole, Eurasanté, INSERM, the Welsh Development Agency, PIR Group, Catalyst Health Economics Consultants and RTC North Ltd.

The Team

The company's directors (Chantal Fraser-L'Hostis & David Fraser) each have doctorates in biochemistry from the University of Oxford, and benefit from years of professional life science experience - from bench R&D to technology licensing and company start-ups - in Continental Europe, the UK and the USA, and in both private and public sectors.

Dr David FraserFollowing a BSc (First Class) in Biochemistry at the University of Sussex and a Doctorate in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford with Professor Tony Watts (including work at Rockefeller University in New York and Harvard Medical School in Boston), David moved to the Continent in 1990 and has subsequently held a number of R&D and management positions in the biomedical field - notably at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Lausanne) and with Disetronic Medical Systems (Burgdorf, Switzerland).

He returned to the UK between 1996 and 1999 for a successful appointment as Business Development Manager (Life Sciences) at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, where he helped launch a DTI Biotechnology Exploitation Platform with the Babraham Institute and the University of East Anglia.

David moved back to the Continent in 1999 to work for CAP Santé Picardie (Amiens, France), a regionally-focused healthcare business support organisation.

David Fraser is a guest lecturer in innovation at Amiens Business School (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d'Amiens) and the Jules Verne University of Picardie.

A former Board Member of the successful  UK biotech start-up Arrow Therapeutics Limited, David is the author of over 20 scientific and business publications and is a co-inventor on 3 successful patent families granted worldwide.

 

Dr Chantal Fraser-L'Hostis

Dr Chantal Fraser-L'HostisAfter obtaining BSc-level degrees in biology and chemistry from the universities of Bretagne Occidentale and Nantes in France, Chantal pursued research studentships in the UK at the University College Cardiff (MSc) and the University of Oxford (D.Phil.).

Her postdoctoral life science research experience includes positions at the University of Geneva (cell biology of infectious disease, parasitology) and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (neurobiochemistry).
